Vampires age, but even slower than humans. 10 years for every human year. Some are born, and others are created.
Fangs ascend and descend- mostly on command.
Fast runners, of course. Night walkers with no direct sunlight. Cloudy days are okay. Dusk and Dawn are iffy. Rain is okay, but the sun kills.
Witches can cast a Daylight magical mark. It’s placed on their skin, but it only lasts four days. Also, give the vampire bad blood lust/blood craze. The king is the only one who can clear a mark.
Some Vampires can read others’ minds.
Some want vamps out of the closet, others want to keep it a secret.
After a mated pair connects by sharing blood during sex, a mental link binds them together.
