Summer Solstice- The Legend Series

Carmen’s smart ass mouth might have gotten her into trouble too many times. The Elders call a meeting and Carmen fears it’s all because of her. To her relief, they call for a volunteer to go supervise the new witches down south. She needs to get away from her old coven and prays to the goddess above that the new coven will accept her as a permanent member. She wants to make a good impression with the new witches and hopes she can make a new home in Austin, Nevada. But when she imprints with a wolf and he wants to complete the bond, Carmen balks at the idea of a wolf witch couple. She can’t make a good impression on the new coven if she’s stuck with a wolf.

Aiden has always been an easy-going kind of wolf. That is until he imprints with a witch who doesn’t want him. He needs to find a way to convince Carmen to complete the bond or lose his wolf forever. On his way back to make her see reason, Carmen is taken by a Devil Hunter. With so much at stake Aiden must find a way to keep his normally calm personality or risk losing everything.

***This book does standalone, but they’re better when read in order. ***

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

I was able to follow her characters and plot from beginning to the end. If you like sexy shifters and powerful witches this is the book for you.

Carmen is not happy in her coven and has volunteered to help out another coven, along the way she meets sexy Aiden, her mate. This is the beginning of their journey. I loved it. I would definitely recommend this book to all my fellow readers

Snippet of Summer Solstice

“Hell fire, not now.” Carmen ducked into the car and grabbed her bag with the book to keep it close. If the whole car exploded, she would either be killed by the blast or the coven. She shook off the thought.

Movement caught her eye in the woods to her left side less than a mile away. She walked around the car to figure out what it was. A dark werewolf slowly walked toward her, making her stomach tighten and her heart flutter. His long brown fur moved in the light breeze and his brown eyes were completely focused on her. She licked her lips, there were only two options here. Either he attacked her and she would kill him, or he would have to shift and from experience most shifters were hot as hell. Dragons don’t flippin’ count right now. Living in a coven full of witches, she knew about werewolves. Yet the fear of this one being a rogue wolf made her hesitant to move. The wolf’s chocolate brown eyes met her gaze putting her at ease. He dropped a bag he had been carrying in his mouth and shifted. He’s fucking hot. And naked. Her gaze moved down his toned chest to those sexy lines curving down to his semi hard cock. She bit her lip as her body started to heat up.

He bent down and pulled on a pair of jeans, which hugged his muscular thighs. Every part of his skin contained hard muscle making her melt in place. When her eyes finally met his dark gaze, he smiled. A deep blush burned from her cheeks and her chest.

“I’m sorry.” Carmen kept her gaze on his face.

“Don’t be. Where are you headed?” He moved to the car and rested his hand on the hood. More smoke billowed from it. Carmen second guessed her decision to leave her bag of clothes in the car. Some things in that flippin’ bag were irreplaceable.
